Anger management (adolescents):

The adolescent anger management groups offer intervention for adolescents who have encountered problems at home, school, or with the law as a result of their anger.  The concepts, skills, and issues participants have the opportunity to develop the program include:

  • Conflict resolution
  • Accepting Responsibility
  • Improving problem-solving skills
  • Improving communication skills
  • Setting priorities
  • Reaching goals
  • Assertiveness training
The program consists of 6 weekly group sessions offered in the evening hours.  Fees for the group are based upon the sliding fee scale, unless the participants are referred directly from the Office on Youth.
